ABSTRACT
The article reports that Flexsys America LP and its parent Solutia Inc. will appeal against the summary judgment in the patent infringement case, brought by Flexsys in federal district court of Cleveland, Ohio. Flexsys claimed that Chinese chemical producer Sinorg-chem Co. and its subsidiaries violated Flexsys' patents by using its "PPD2" manufacturing method, used for making 4-ADPA, a type of chemical intermediate for the rubber antidegradant 6PPD.
