ABSTRACT
The article clarifies some misconceptions about stem cell therapy. According to scientists from the International Society for Stem Cell Research, not all stem cells have the ability to turn into any type of specialised cell and that a single stem cell treatment could not cure all ills. The article reveals that stem cells have to be instructed to change in a particular way and that they do not automatically know what kind of cell they are supposed to become.
