The article notes a reason for the trend in the U.S. banking industry toward better design of their bank branch offices especially those that are located in affluent areas. The issue of fewer people visiting banks on a day-to-day basis to do their banking is discussed. The banking companies KeyCorp, Fifth Third Bancorp, and M&T Bank Corp. are mentioned.
