ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights on the efforts made by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) related to health care reform. It offers information on ASHP's Pharmacy Practice Model Initiative (PPMI) which reflects its collaboration with other pharmacy organizations on the mutual importance to pharmacists and patients. Furthermore, information on the scope of practice data series on pharmacists that was published by the American Medical Association is presented.
