The article discusses the use of onions in different recipes whether sweet or savory treats and their health benefits. It mentions that onions have an antioxidant compound called quercetin which has beneficial effects on various diseases like colon cancer and cataracts. it is mentioned that eating onions regularly can lower high blood pressure and high cholesterol level. It adds that onions can also help prevent stroke and heart disease.
