ABSTRACT
The article presents information on of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) and the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) in the U.S. The author discusses the effectiveness of the U.S. Department of Education's School Improvement Grant (SIG) program and outlines three provisions for sustainable school reform. The provisions include objective reviews of schools needing improvement and academic achievement measurements.
