Royal opening launches Botniabanan

The article reports on the inauguration of the Botniabanan rail lines in Sweden this August 2010. Botniabanan AB said that themes chosen for the inauguration will highlight the benefits of the line, which include goods, trade and industry, regional expansion, the environment, sustainable development, the past and the future. The celebrations will commence on August 26, 2010, while normal commercial services will start on August 30, 2010. Local transport authority Norrtåg by Botniatåg will operate regional trains.
