ABSTRACT
The article presents the findings of reports from several companies concerning the reinsurrance rates at the July 1, 2010 renewals including Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC, Aon Benfield and Willis Re Ltd. Aon Benfield underlines the impact of the Chilean Earthquake and Australian storms towards the localized increases in pricing. Guy Carpenter highlights the decrease in property rates by 15 percent. Willis Re emphasizes the decline in the rates for casualty pricing.
