The article focuses on the positive effect of multiband radios on interoperability. According to the article, multiband radios are single radios that are capable of transmitting, receiving and scanning in multiple frequency regions. It adds that these radios are improving the degree of interoperability capabilities. Furthermore, multiband radios allow the users to effectively expand their coverage area by overcoming the disparate frequency band issue.
