ABSTRACT
The article describes the performance of Pandrol's Single Fastclip (SFC) in rail fastening solutions, applied on the East Japan Railways in 2002 and the Korean Seoul-Busan High speed line in 2005. It is mentioned that the SFC improved the resilience of the Japanese high-speed slab design, and tests conducted showed advantages of the Pandrol SFC system such as having 15 to 20 times higher electrical resistance than the German system which was required for the Korean project.
