ABSTRACT
The article relates the efforts of the author to share V&A's training programs with other museums and galleries in Great Britain. In order for the training programs to be given national status as a V&A vocational award, the author went to the Education Development International to begin the accreditation process. It is noted that the technician award was accredited first. In 2006, the V&A Cultural Heritage Assessment Centre was launched. Since then, over 100 workers have received awards.
