ABSTRACT
The article features the author's narration about running their investment firm, the Accredited Investors Inc. Strategies applied for the development of their firm and how to avoid the beggar mentality of dissatisfaction and discontentment are also discussed. Upon hiring Jim Grubman of FamilyWealth Consulting, the operations of the firm started to change and they began to create decisions with discipline. It is stated that the previous decision making process involved everyone in the firm which led to confusions that block productivity while the process that Jim Grubman taught them which involved keeping things in private was more effective. The author also said that the presence of Jim Grubman helped them reorganize their firm and plan issues with consistent result.
