The article discusses how Glead Weidner started and became sucessful in his laundry business in Canada. He bought a One-Hour Martinizing franchise and followed the operating advice on running the dry cleaning business but he left the franchise to start the Fairfield Cleaners. He also purchased a struggling carpet business and his children helped him until his retirement. His advice those who want to enter the business is to be aware with environmental concerns.
