ABSTRACT
The article reports on the study conducted by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) on the medical and dental personnel requirements at the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). It states that GAO has assessed the manpower policies, interviewed officials from the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and analyzed the services' requirements data. Furthermore, the office recommends that OSD and services should improve cooperation and process involvements.
