The article is a report about lectures presented at the Leipziger Bibliothekskongress (library convention) from the committee working on the topic of management and administrative processes of the VDB, Verein Deutscher Bibliothekare (Association of German Librarians). The topic of the eight lectures was "Serviceportfolios von Bibliotheken im Umbruch: Herausforderungen an Management und Organisation" (Service Portfolios of Libraries in Change: Challenges to Management and Organization).
