The article reports on the cooperative project of the universities of Lüneburg and Hildesheim, Germany in 2009 in the area of online tutorials for academic library workers and university students. The project, "Online-Tutorial Bib@InfoLit" (Information Literacy) was designed to promote information competence and its technical installation was carried out in cooperation with the Center for Information Management and Virtual Learning at the University of Osnabrück (virtUOS) in Osnabrück, Germany.
