The article presents an outlook for the merger and acquisition (M&A) sector in the U.S. During the first six months of 2010, ended June 14, the volume of middle market deals increased by approximately 70 percent. Market experts predicts that M&A sector will improve in 2010. It was observed that mostly of M&A activity in the first half of 2010 were in the energy and power, high technology, financials and healthcare industries. Meanwhile, the bond market is also expected to improve in 2010.
