ABSTRACT
The article reports on the fines imposed by Bundeskartellamt, a competition regulator, to companies for alleged involvement in cartel agreements in Germany. It mentions several companies which were involved in the cartel agreements including Carl Zeiss Vision International GmbH, Essilor GmbH and Rodenstock GmbH. It states that the Central Association of Optometrists (ZVA) is also involved in the cartel in which the total fine amounts 115 million euros.
