ABSTRACT
The article features American artist Gertrude Schweitzer and her watercolor painting series. Images of some of Scweitzer's watercolor pictures that were exhibited in her one-man show at the Grand Central Art Galleries in the spring of 1951 are shown, including "Summer Day" and "White Ballet." The author also talks about the nature of Schweitzer's pictures using the watercolor medium, as well as her style and method of painting.
