ABSTRACT
The article discusses several developments in the art community as of October 1951. It notes that the picture on the publication's October 1951 cover "Tying Kerchief" is a watercolor by Gertrude Schweitzer. It announces that John Morse and the American Artist European Tour are back in New York and that Morse is already preparing a full account of the trip for the November 1951 issue. It quotes the concluding paragraph of the colophon that Bruce Rogers wrote in his book "Paragraphs on Printing," about the way printers use colophon to sign their work.
