ABSTRACT
The article reports on the release of a request for information (RFI) session regarding alternative energy for Naval Air Station Lemoore by the U.S. Navy. According to commanding officer Captain James Knapp, an RFI was released to explore chances for renewable and alternative energy development of the southwest quadrant of the Navy. He adds that he was surprised of the interest from solar energy developers regarding the proposals on solar farms.
