The article discusses the effort of the Oklahoma Corp. Commission (OCC), a commission that regulates the power companies owned by investors in Oklahoma, to examine the feasibility of underground electric facilities. It is found out that the cost for undergrounding the electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure is expensive. Moreover, it is suggested that the OCC should focus on harden the electrical delivery system to protect them to damage.
