ABSTRACT
The article reports on the initiation of a program of BlueCross & BlueShield Association of South Carolina and the Palmetto Health Family Medicine Center/University of South Carolina School of Medicine Department of Family and Preventive Medicine that pays the center for medical care coordination and give incentives to physicians if the center can demonstrate improved patient health results.
