ABSTRACT
The article reports that New York agencies are engaging with the New Issue Bond Purchase (NIBP) program due to its complexities in the legal and underwriting aspects. The said program will help improve the housing finance agencies in the state, but New York issuers like to do things on their own way that create troubles in the securities industry. Moreover, the New York City Housing Development Corp. and the New York State Housing Finance Agency are seeking solutions to NIBP problems.
