ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the advantages of consolidation in the steel mill industry as suggested by Malay Mukherjee, chief executive officer (CEO) of India's Essar Steel Business Group. Mukherjee believes that consolidation will help control the raw material cost in the industry. However, consolidation needs to be improve due to the inability to cope with the raw material supply.
