ABSTRACT
The article presents the three phases in building and sustaining the financial planning businesses in the U.S., which is a matter of attention, getting it, paying it and giving it. It outlines the five criteria of great service which include reliability, empathy and assurance. It also points out the significant contribution of listening and differentiating in the paying attention phase. It highlights the importance in identifying the daily source of energy by keeping the business constantly not just afloat, but by making a steady development.
