ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the new mandate of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It states that according to the new regulations, facilities that emit equal to or more than 25,000 metric tons of specified greenhouse gases (GHG) are required to provide an annual report of their actual GHG emissions. It highlights the aim of the mandate and the current focus of the EPA which is GHG monitoring. It also discusses the role and the process of choosing a flowmeter for GHG monitoring.
