Talent Development in STEM Disciplines: A Golden Opportunity for Specialized Secondary Schools

The article presents an overview of the important role in the stimulation of talent development in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. It explores the issues and opportunities related to specialized school student talent development. It mentions that specialized secondary schools can be an instrumental in all three stages of talent development which include creating interest, building a content base and acquiring content-related skill and research involvement.
