ABSTRACT
The article presents a letter from Brenda S. Farrell, director of Defense Capabilities and Management, and Ronald S. Fecso, chief statistician at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) on online survey conducted by the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). The survey aims to evaluate existing programs and policies within the Department of Defense (DOD). In this report, GAO found that the DMDC survey officials did not have written policy on performing nonresponse analysis.
