ABSTRACT
The article explains the engineering aspects of two dedicated outdoor-air systems (DOAS)-related innovations. It helps engineers in achieving an equal or better performance without the complexities and cost of a reheat coil and controls. It adds that the inherent simplicity makes DOAS lower in cost than comparable units that rely on enthalpy wheels or hot-gas or liquid reheat coils and controls. It further outlines the compelling advantages of DOAS.
