ABSTRACT
The article discusses the intensification of water shortages that focuses on conservation, efficiency and treatment in the U.S. It highlights the report for the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Education and Research Foundation that reviews the opportunities for mechanical contractors that range from water-efficiency audits to rainwater harvesting, gray-water reuse and high-efficiency fixtures. It also mentions the reduction of water use without affecting the quality of life.
