ABSTRACT
The article reflects the need for more green buildings in the U.S. It mentions that population pressures are the key drivers of the construction industry. The reality that the structures are vast consumers of energy, land and other finite and expensive resources make a conscientious decision in designing environmentally sustainable systems. It further suggests in joining the annual Engineering Green Buildings Conference and Expo in Baltimore, Maryland to get a head start on green buildings.
