ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the Global Youth Tobacco System (GYTS), developed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Canadian Public Health Association, and on WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC). It states that GYTS and WHO FCTC share the same goal of developing, evaluating and implementing effective tobacco control programs in all WHO member states.
