ABSTRACT
The article describes the case of a 15-year-old Brazilian girl who was readmitted to the hospital with recurrent corticotrophin (ACTH)-secreting adenoma, located in the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland, who presented with Cushing's syndrome (CS) symptoms at the age of 11. The symptoms of apparent recurrence of CS which led to her readmission were weight gain, irregular menses, and increased acne. The patient has been found to have developed diabetes insipidus (DI) and remains on vasopressin replacement.
