The article presents a study which examined the factors contributing to the characteristics and psychosexual development of children age 4 to 12 with disorders of sex development (DSD). Results of the Gender Identity Interview (GII), Child Behavior and Attitudes Questionnaire (CBAQ), and Gender Role Questionnaire (GRQ) given were explored. It found that the formation of a stable gender identity in agreement with gender of rearing is related to a history of gender reassignment. The lack of control data for some outcomes is mentioned.
