ABSTRACT
The article reports on the reorganization plan filed by General Growth Properties on July 13, 2010 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The reorganization plan will divide the company into two publicly-traded entities, General Growth Properties and Spinco, which will emerge from bankruptcy by the end of October 2010. Also noted was the investment agreement of General Growth with the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.
