ABSTRACT
The article offers tips on initiating organizational change. The author recommends increasing productivity and engagement levels of two departments that are scheduled to be merged. She says that it is important to ask for the support of union representatives with regards to business planning, since the working terms and conditions of employees will be affected. In addition, providing career transition support for employees who are planning to leave because of the organizational change is suggested.
