ABSTRACT
The article offers tips on how to construct a better Build America Bonds (BAB) in the U.S. The author suggest that lawmakers and officials of the Treasury Department should change BAB rules to make it more effective for infrastructure finance. He suggests to tax code should have an exemption feature, should not be limited to government bonds, and private developers that qualify for exemption-stripped BAB should also be eligible for accelerated depreciation.
