ABSTRACT
The article reports that a number of companies that have issued pay-in-kind (PIK) Toggle notes shifted to cash pay mode. Nine companies have opted to pay in cash instead of the PIK option which is a sign of stronger liquidity. Some of these companies who moved away from PIK are Freescale Semiconductor, Momentive Performance Materials and VWR International.
