ABSTRACT
The article discusses the costs of the Iraq War. It points out how the administration of former U.S. President George W. Bush chose to finance the war by borrowing from the Chinese and Japanese governments at high interest rates. It cites the human costs which include the killed, wounded and psychologically traumatized U.S. soldiers as the true costs of war. It mentions the social costs of the war where the money spent could have been spent to handle poverty, hunger and social inequality. It suggests that these costs and Iraq War must not be forgotten.
