ABSTRACT
The article reports on the hope of Kentucky officials on the potential of a federal loan guarantee program as a catalyst to resume the construction of the 62-story skyscraper on the banks of the Ohio River. A 100 million dollars loan guarantee is applied by the officials from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Section 108 provision of the community development block grant program. Governor Steve Beshear notes that the loan will create job and get the state's economy moving.
