The article focuses on the issues faced by people with disabilities in their marriages. It relates the marriage of Jim Hukill with spinal muscular atrophy to Rhonette Orr wherein the disability contributes diverse complications to the marriage. It says that the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries' web site calls for counselors who have experienced dealing with married people with disabilities to present their ideas so that it could be used as a resource for people with disabilities.
