The article discusses the concept of whole leadership in light of rising customer expectations, increasing competitive pressures, and greater uncertainty. It explains how whole leaders use their head, heart and guts to succeed. Partial leadership is defined in terms of relying heavily on one of the three attributes. Suggestions are given for one to become a whole leader starting with knowing which attribute one rely on most and those that are under-utilized.
