ABSTRACT
The article discusses the managerial challenges of staging large-group courses and events involving the building of information competence (IC) among college-level students in Germany, particularly in large lecture courses such as economics, sociology, and law. Particularly examined is the development of electronic learning (e-learning) presentations on technical competence and literacy in database and Internet research, as well as on use of the personal computer.
