ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the decision of the capitalists to invest more on gold mining industry. It highlights the surge of gold price which serves as a legitimate hedge used by other countries and banking companies against inflation. However, it notes that Chinese banks prefer to invest in mining shares due to its large fixed costs. An overview of the gold mining companies which are mostly invested by investors is offered.
