ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's humorous take on why the town of Edison, New Jersey has such a large population of people from India. He describes the cultural changes that have taken place in Edison in the time since he graduated from high school there in 1989. According to James W. Hughes of Rutgers University, the influx of Indians was partially due to President Lyndon B. Johnson's 1965 immigration law which provided incentives for people from Asian countries to migrate to the U.S.
