The article provides an overview of the economic condition in Thailand particularly on its export-oriented manufacturing sector. It forecasts the critical impact of political unrest in Bangkok on the country's exports. Export on high-technology products are the backbone of Thai manufacturing. The impact of the political unrest in the tourism industry is also discussed.
