ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the issue of potholes during the winter season of 2009 in North Carolina and South Carolina. As stated, potholes victims such as motorists and car drivers paid hundred of dollars for broken suspension components, dented rims, and busted tires where transportation department lack funds for road maintenance and repair. Further it presents rules for avoiding potholes which include alignment of tires, by steering around them, and slowing down of speed to minimize its effect.
