ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the historic Colonial Williamsburg village of Williamsburg, Virginia. It focuses on the reconstructed coffeehouse of Richard Charlton where elitist class of society visit for coffee, meals, and interesting lectures. It discusses the popular "Revolutionary City" program of the coffeehouse that represent the American Revolution. Further it offers information on historic taverns of the city including Chowning's Tavern, Shield Tavern, and King's Arms Tavern.
