ABSTRACT
The article discusses an account study released by the global marketing information firm J.D. Power and Associates, which found that the financial firm JPMorgan Chase and company continues to heavily promote deals to try to increase the volume of new bank accounts by offering free checks and gifts. According to the article, JPMorgan is winning a disproportionate part of the business by doing so. The company's marketing strategies and advertisement spending data are discussed.
